Rapid Prototyping
ProtoCafe uses the latest equipment to offer the highest quality prototypes whether you need ultra fine resolution, fine feature detail, or large robust parts for functional testing. We have a solution that meets budget and part requirements.
Rapid Prototyping Options:

ProJet HD: The ProJet is a multi-jetting process that uses a dual material phase change which allows for superb resolution, ultra fine feature detail, ability to capture sharp corners and highly detailed parts. Support structures dissolve quickly with no manual finishing allowing for hollow parts and no risk of compromising small features. ProJet technology is from 3D Systems. <more> |

SLA: Stereolithogray (SLA) is considered the grandfather of rapid prototyping. We use high definition and production SLA technology from 3D Systems, the inventors and global leaders in Stereolithography. The process consists of a vat of liquid resin which is cured layer by layer using a laser. Finishing is required for standard surface finish. <more> |

Objet: Objet is an inkjet technology that works by jetting layers of a liquid photopolymer onto a build tray. Each layer is cured by UV light immediately after it is jetted. Material options allow for flexible parts. <more> |
| FDM: Fused deposition modeling is a layering process that works like a hot glue gun depositing thermoplastic materials in layers of .010" or .007". Parts do not have the best surface finish but will provide strong parts for functional testing. <more> |

SLS: Sintered parts, or SLS models are ideal when you need tough, stable parts for harsh environment testing or end-use applications. Materials range from flame retardant, polypro, reinforced, and elastomerics. <more> |
