During our careers in the engineering fields, we experienced a gap in the toolsets avialable to us. There was a constant struggle with getting higher quality products to market faster. As a natural transition we searched for products and services that would allow us to be more successful in our careers. As a result we decided to found ProtoCafe.

Based on our product design and development expertise we researched the market and decided on products that were the best in industry.

We used our expertise in engineering, design, and RP to advise our customers on how to overcome their challenges in ways that saved weeks of design time and thousands of dollars in prototypes. In time our customers began coming to us for full solutions instead of specific needs. Based on our customer's needs we began to grow our internal service bureau in order to become a full service provider.

We are proud to be a company that provides our customers with end to end solutions in taking an idea from concept to prototype, through design iterations, to low and mid volume production, to final high volume production and market delivery. We house all the latest cutting edge equipment and use it in non-conventional ways that enable us to take products to market faster and cheaper.

With the growth of our service offerings we began to bring in new equipment and recruited industry expertise to cover the wide range of projects. We began to use equipment in non-conventional ways that not only allowed us to offer top quality services but also advanced our equipment offering.

We now provide our customers with a full comprehensive suite of equipment and service offerings to enable state-of-the-art, low overhead, in house capabilities; and complete gap fill outsourced solutions for all our customer’s product design and development needs.
